Dear Cassidy family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your son Adam. I was in grades 6, 7 and 8 with Adam. My parents are John and Maria Simoes. After Sacred Heart Public School everyone moved on to F.E. Madill and I went to Walkerton. Occasionally I would see Adam at the odd function, mostly the Teeswater Fall Fairs. Jennifer Wall and Kelly Schiestel were good to keep me posted on everyone every now and again. Adam was a very quiet guy from what I remember. Kelly, Wes and Adam were the famous 3 all through school together getting into this and that but they were such good friends. Lots of laughs were had by all of us and class trips to Toronto and Ottawa. There’s many stories and memories. Adam never like to start the teasing but he sure enjoyed participating in it. I am so very sorry for your family and for Adams family. If there’s anything that I can do please let me know. I will always remember Adam and his love for AC/DC. My deepest condolence to each of you. May you find comfort in God and your faith, that even tho there’s no answers, sometimes and we can not understand... that one day God will explain all the “whys” that we have and all the questions we hold. May your family find the strength in each other in the coming days, weeks and months .... May God touch your grieving hearts and lessen the pain in the days to come. Thinking of you.
