Obituary of Dorothy MacDonald
Dorothy MacDonald (née McPherson) of Guelph and formerly of Teeswater passed away at Hospice Wellington, Guelph on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, at age 95.
Beloved wife of the late Arnold MacDonald (2012).
Dear mother of Lois Thompson (Bob) and Heather Brighton (Kevin). Dear mother-in-law of Gail MacDonald.
Missed by grandchildren, Andrew, Laura, Christopher, Hilary, Brock, Victoria and great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Mabel, Charlotte, Henry, Anne, Josephine and Clara.
Also survived by her sister Kathleen Pennington of Teeswater and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by infant daughter Linda (1950), son Larry (2006), great-grandson Zaq (2013) and brother Thomas (1995).
Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday, May 9th, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service honouring Dorothy’s life at 2:30 p.m., with Carel Grundlingh officiating.
Final resting place Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
