Obituary of Nancy McPherson
Nancy Ruth McPherson of Kincardine, passed away surrounded by the love of family, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, in her 79th year.
Loving mother of Jason (Jennifer) Smith of Teeswater and Michael (Coleen) Smith of Waterloo.
Dear grandma of Josh (Victoria), Nathen (Kara), Dylan (Jerica), Benjamin, Tyson, Peyton, Hayley, Emmett and Amanda.
Fondly remembered by her siblings, Judy Clark (Don) of Teeswater, Liz Dahms (Wayne) of Mildmay, Phyllis Clancy (Jack) of Waterloo, Trudy Cleland (Charles) of Ripley, Stuart McPherson (Kim) of Teeswater, Steven McPherson (Gail) of Ripley, Jacqueline Dennis (Mike) of Kincardine and Ronda McArthur (Rick) of Kinloss.
Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Predeceased by her son Jeffrey Smith (2023) and parents, Ian and Eva (née Stewart) McPherson.
Nancy grew up on a farm outside of Teeswater with her parents and her eight siblings. She lived outside of Formosa for a good portion of her life where she raised her three sons, moving to Kincardine in her later years.
She was a kind soul with the biggest heart, who always saw the best in people and was there when someone was in need. She was devoted to her family, they were her everything.
For the last year of her life she resided at Trillium Court Long Term Care where she was always brightening the nurses’ days.
Mom is up in heaven now with our beloved brother, father, and grandparents whom she missed so much.
Visitation at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Monday, December 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd, at 11:00 a.m., with Ann Maycock officiating.
Spring interment Smith Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
