Karen, Cindy and families - our sincere sympathy is extended to you all with your dad's passing. John was a great inspiration and role model. He dedicated a lot of his spare time to the Teeswater Agriculture Society. His spirit, jolly laugh and wit will live on in our Ag Society forever. Treasure all the great memories of a terrific hardworking father/grandfather.

To John's family,
What a wonderful man. We knew him mainly through Teeswater United Church. The work both he and your mother Betty did for the church did not go unnoticed. They were dedicated. There was always a smile, a little humour. We will miss his attendance at Salem United Church. Rest in peace John. God Bless.

Sincere sympathy to Karen, Cindy and families, on the loss of John. He certainly was a busy and devoted man.
The memorium that you wrote about your father, explains the true love your family had for each other. John was a fellow truck driver with Eugene at Gaylea Foods. He talked about his younger days at work in Holland. Sounds like a very interesting life that he had. Prayers are with you at this sad time.

Karen & Cindy,
Our sincerest condolences to you and your families. What a beautiful tribute to your Dad. John was our regular milk transport driver in our dairy farming years and retired shortly before our retirement years. He always spoke fondly of his family. He would give our 2 children occasional rides out the farm lane way in the milk truck and would blow the horn past our house, then dropping the kids a short distance at the end of the driveway. They were so thrilled! We would have many chats in the milk house while John waited on our load.
Cherish his fond memories and the family times you spent with him. RIP John.

Karen and Cindy,
Your Father was a special person, taking the time to welcome us as newcomers to the community, to sit on the front porch for long chats, share a wink at those long church meetings and later to discuss the merits of baked bread and Ollie Bollen over the Internet. He will be missed by everyone lucky enough to have known him! Our deepest condolences to you and your families.
