Obituary of Ken Steffler

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ken Steffler on June 22, 2026, at the age of 82.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, Neil and Amelia Steffler (née Waechter), and his sister, Jan Weppler.

He leaves behind his beloved partner, Marg, and her family, who brought much happiness and companionship into his life.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Claire Steffler (Brenda), his brother-in-law, Bob Weppler (Ayla), and his nieces and nephews: Tracey (Jim), Kelly (José), Cory (Sandra), and Brent (Brittany).

Ken was also a proud great-uncle and will be fondly remembered by his many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ken will be remembered for his strong work ethic and lifelong passion for tractors. His treasured Allis-Chalmers collection was a source of great pride and brought together family, friends, and fellow enthusiasts from near and far. He enjoyed hosting tractor tours, sharing stories, and passing along his knowledge to anyone who shared his interest. If Ken wasn't in his shop tinkering on his newest project, he could often be found at a tractor pull, attending an auction, or exploring a farm machinery sale. His enthusiasm for antique tractors was matched by the friendships he built along the way.

Above all, Ken appreciated the simple pleasures in life: time spent with loved ones, meaningful conversations, and the satisfaction of a hard day's work. His kindness, sense of humour, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though he may be gone from our sight, Ken's legacy will live on in the fields he worked, the tractors he restored, the stories he shared, and the many lives he touched.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the memorial service honouring Ken's life at 12:00 p.m.
