Obituary of Ronald Harkness

Ronald George Harkness of Bervie passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 in his 75th year. Survived by the love of his life for 41 years, Marj Nicholson of R. R. #4 Kincardine. Dear brother of Mary Huber of Barrie, Evelyn and Paul Fischer of Teeswater, Elda Huber and Glen Lippert of Neustadt and Donald Harkness of Fort Nelson, B.C. Also survived by sister-in-law Linda Ergang and her husband Gordon of Fort St. John, B.C. and brother-in-law Richard Huber of Neustadt. Missed by Marj’s children, Dave and Doreen Nicholson and family of Edmonton, Carolyn Schurter and Ken Price of R. R. #4 Kincardine, granddaughter Susan Gagne and her husband Mark and great-grandson Nicolas. Fondly remembered by his aunts, Ina Ireland of Teeswater and Florence Harkness of Wingham, uncle Gordon Harkness of Parkhill, Marj's brothers Ron McGarvey and family of R. R. #3 Ripley and Gord and Mary McGarvey and family of Kincardine, members of the Nicholson family and several nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents George and Margaret (Grimoldby) Harkness, brother Kenneth Harkness, sister Audrey Johnston and brothers-in-law Fred Huber and Ross Johnston.
