Obituary of Ernest Schiestel

Ernest “Ernie” Alexander Schiestel of Gilbert Hall, Wingham and formerly of Teeswater passed away peacefully at Wingham & District Hospital on Thursday, July 16th, 2015 in his 73rd year. Dear father of Penny Lynn Dwinnell and her husband Richard of Kincardine, Rick Schiestel and his friend Sheri Sprung of Teeswater and Dan Schiestel and his wife Terri of Teeswater. Missed by six grandsons, Chris Dwinnell, Tim Dwinnell (Lindsay), Josh Schiestel, Dylan Schiestel, Spencer Schiestel and Gage Schiestel and great-granddaughter Sloane Dwinnell. Fondly remembered by his brothers Douglas Schiestel (Jan Hopf) of Teeswater, Francis Schiestel (Juanita) of Teeswater, sisters-in-law Marilyn Schiestel of Wingham and Jean Schiestel of Teeswater and brother-in-law Gilbert Kuenzig of Teeswater. Also survived by Pat Schiestel of Bluevale and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Irene (Willie) Schiestel, sister Yvonne Kuenzig, brothers William Schiestel and Joe Schiestel and sister-in-law Kathy Schiestel.
