Obituary of Leona Schiestel

Leona Francis (Keip) Schiestel of R. R. #3 Teeswater passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, March 5th, 2010 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Schiestel who predeceased her on September 5th, 2009. Loving mother of Janet Wright and her husband Steve of R. R. #3 Holyrood, Elaine Thompson and her partner Doug Schneider of Listowel, Nancy Ross and her husband Don of R. R. #1 Wingham, Dennis Schiestel and his wife Lisa Thompson of Teeswater, Teresa Detzler and her husband Allan of R. R. #2 Teeswater, Patricia Martin and her husband Rick of R. R. #2 Teeswater and Daniel Schiestel and his wife Brenda of Fordwich. Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and sisters Marie Oberle of Walkerton and Rita Kroker of Cambridge. Also survived by sisters-in-law Mary Keip of Formosa, Phyllis Keip of Kitchener Madeline Helmka and her husband Neil of Listowel and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Paula in infancy, parents William and Anna (Voisin) Keip and brothers Gerald Keip, Harvey Keip and Leonard Keip.
