Obituary of Marion Thacker

Marion Leola Thacker of R. R. #1 Formosa passed away peacefully at Wingham & District Hospital on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 in her 76th year. The former Marion Preiss, beloved wife of Hugh Thacker. Dear mother of Joanne Voisin of Kitchener, Barbara Johns and Brian Drake of Waterloo and Doug and Judy Thacker of R. R. #3 Teeswater. Missed by grandchildren Hugh, Ryan, Holly, Dave, Darryl, Angie and Jessica and 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings Doris Lloyd of Waterloo and Mildred Wesley of Waterloo, Vi and Don Herman of Hanover, Shirley and George Culbert of Mildmay, Joyce Schenk of Hespeler, Eleanor and Gordon Cox of Wiarton and Ron and Ginny Preiss of Kitchener. Sister-in-law of Gwen Hood of London, Bob and Sylvia Thacker of Michigan and Richard Thacker of London Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Magdelina (Scheerer) Preiss, sisters Helen Hay and Betty Newton-Reidt, brothers Clayton Preiss, Harvey Preiss and Leonard Preiss and brother-in-law Laverne Schenk.
