Obituary of Carl Benninger

Carl Eugene Benninger of Formosa passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, August 20th, 2016, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Yvonne Benninger (née Cassidy). Dear father of Keith Benninger (Dianne) of Waterloo, Jason Benninger (Kathy) and Scott Benninger (Tammy Vanduzen) all of Milton. Missed by his grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle and Eric Benninger, Jacob and Sofia Benninger Jalali, Trent and Taylor King and Dakota Benninger. Remembered by his siblings, Lloyd Benninger (Jan) of Wingham, Roseann Steffler (Len) of Cargill, Linda Weber (Lloyd) of Mildmay, Cathy Waechter (Ken) of Walkerton and Jerry Benninger (Pauline) of Formosa and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by in-laws, Mike and Doreen Weber of Walkerton, Dennis and Carol Batte of Belmore, Lorne and Janet Cassidy of South Africa and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Beatrice (née Voisin) Benninger, step-father Jack Borho and brothers-in-law David Cassidy and Harold Cassidy (Lorraine). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Formosa on Thursday, August 25th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Father Michael Anderson as celebrant. There will be no visitation taking place. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Knights of Columbus Hall, Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
