Obituary of Marilyn McPherson

Marilyn Ola McPherson (née Dagg) of Teeswater passed away with family by her side at Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, September 28th, 2016, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Doug McPherson for 65 years. Loving mother of Richard McPherson (Deborah) of Turnberry Township, Gail McPherson (Marg Sanborn) of Meaford and Jane Harkness (Leland) of Howick Township. Cherished grandmother of Erin Scott (Joe) of Kincardine, Katie Pothier (Keith) of Southgate, Laura Harris (Michael) of Culross Township, Brett McPherson of Kitchener, Adam Harkness of Howick Township, Sarah Harkness of Belmore and Amy Weber (Justin) of Owen Sound and 5 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Ellen McPherson of Teeswater and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Birdie (née Derbyshire) Dagg, brother Milton Dagg (Margaret), sister Twyla Brown (James) and brother-in-law Lloyd McPherson. Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Teeswater on Sunday, October 2nd, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Owen Kim officiating. Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
