Obituary of Joyce Rawn

Mary Ethel “Joyce” Rawn (née Jones) of R. R. #1 Holyrood, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, December 22nd, 2016, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Morley Rawn who predeceased in 2006. Dear mother of Leonard Rawn (Patti) of Hanover, Albert Rawn of Formosa, Wilma Rawn (Rob Marshall) of Crediton, Karl Rawn (Cheryl) of Riversdale, Carman Rawn (Shelley) of Formosa and Lois Davis (Peter) of Holyrood. Missed by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother George Jones of Calgary and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Shirley Kumm, daughter-in-law Marilyn Vaughan, brother Albert, brother-in-law Harvey Rawn, sister-in-law Grace Tunney, parents Jack and Margaret (née Fleming) Rawn and foster parents, Jack and Naomi Gateman. A memorial reception will be held at the Salem Hall on Wednesday, December 28th, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Spring inurnment Smith Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
