Obituary of Lloyd Wheeler

Lloyd Henry Wheeler, a resident of Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow and formerly of Teeswater and Bluevale, passed away at Pinecrest Manor on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Patricia Gamble-Wheeler (née Mulcaster) of Teeswater and the late Isabel Wheeler (née Cameron) who predeceased him in May 1994. Dear father of David Wheeler and his wife Maureen of Erinsville and Heather Montgomery and her husband Doug of Peterborough. Missed by his grandchildren, Michela and Ashley Montgomery and Zack and Maddi Wheeler. Fondly remembered by Pat’s family; Donna and Dennis Thompson of R. R. #3 Walkerton, David and Bonnie Gamble of Teeswater, Doug and Vickie Gamble of Paris, Derrick and Shirley Gamble of Formosa and Darlene and Don McCall of Teeswater and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Rifa (née Jenkins) Wheeler and infant brother Bruce. Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Lloyd’s life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church (7 James Street West), Teeswater on Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Owen Kim officiating. Spring interment Wingham Cemetery. Memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church, Teeswater, Bluevale United Church or Teeswater Minor Ball would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
