Obituary of Ralph Weishar

Ralph Peter Weishar of Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, formerly of Teeswater and Culross Township, passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, two days short of his 97th birthday. Born in Carrick Township on March 23rd, 1920 to the late Andrew and Margaret (née Schumacher) Weishar. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rose (née Reinhart) in 1989. Father and father-in-law of Reg (deceased 1996) (Donna) of Teeswater, Andrew (Doris) of Gowanstown, Ted of Teeswater, Mary Lou Kretz of Listowel, Allan (MaryAnn) of Barrie, Anita Stothers (Ron) of Ayr, Ralph (deceased 2007) (Karen) of Stratford, Frank (Marlene) of Mildmay, Joe (Brenda) of Listowel, Merv (Brigitte) of Chatham, Dan (Liz) of Wroxeter, Jeanette Wilke (Paul) of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Paul (Joanne) of Listowel, Karen Ruetz (Ed) of Hanover , Dave (Gail) of Teeswater, Gary (Joanne) of Bluevale, Steve of Durham, Ray (Cheryl) of Kitchener, and Darrel (Jan) of Teeswater. Survived by 50 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two grandsons, Kenny Weishar and Dean Weishar, son–in-law Conrad Kretz, great-grandson Tyler Dietz, brother Ray Weishar and sister Mary Beninger (Frank). Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., with Vigil Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Father Michael Anderson as celebrant. Spring interment Sacred Heart Cemetery. PLEASE NO FLOWERS - as expressions of sympathy the family would like donations to these agencies who service the less fortunate in Grey and Bruce Counties.
