Obituary of Trevor Schneider

Trevor Schneider of Mildmay, passed away with family by his side, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at the age of 47. Beloved husband and best friend of Jennifer Schneider (née Haelzle). Loving father of Derek and Amber Schneider. Cherished son of Gary and Carol Schneider. Missed by his siblings, Tracy Williams (John), Marcia McGilveary (Steve) and Colin Schneider (Carolyn). Fondly remembered by his father and mother-in law Bob and Judy Haelzle, sisters-in-law Sherry Weiler (Al), Brenda Haelzle, brother-in-law Rob Haelzle and grandmother-in-law Anna Schiestel. Dear uncle of Cody, Taylor, Chloe, Madeline, Kyla, Dustyn, Karina, Jevan, Karlee, Paige and Perle Sharing in this loss are Trevor's many aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, friends and fellow firefighters. Predeceased by his grandparents, Harvey and Audrey Dahms and Bill and Reba Schneider. Trevor was a proud member of the Mildmay Carrick Firefighters for 25 years. Visitation will take place at the Mildmay Carrick Recreation Complex on Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Trevor’s life will be conducted from the Mildmay Carrick Recreation Complex on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastors Ed Bastian and Elina Salonen officiating. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada or the Mildmay Carrick Firefighters’ Association (cheques payable to the Municipality of South Bruce) would be appreciated by the family.
