Obituary of Pearl Brindley

Pearl Irene Brindley (née Miller) of Riversdale, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017, in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald Brindley who predeceased her in 1993.

Dear mother of Clifford Brindley (Mary) of Culross Township, John Brindley (Lorrie) of Hanover, Bonnie Cole (David) of California, Patricia Johnson of Walkerton and Sherry Caldwell (Roger) of Bruce Township.

Missed by daughter-in-law Kathryn Brindley of Kinloss, 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by her sister Marie Sherran (James), brother Tom Miller (Marj) all of Woodstock, sisters-in-law Largret McInnes of Kincardine and Donelda Miller of Walkerton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her son Charles Brindley (1998), son-in-law James Johnson (2001), parents James and Beatrice (née Potter) Miller, 8 brothers, 3 sisters and 3 siblings in infancy.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where the funeral service to celebrate Pearl’s life will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Ann Maycock officiating. 

Interment Durham Road Baptist Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce, Salem Hall or Salem United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
