Obituary of Peg Harmon

Margaret Dorothy “Peg” Harmon (née Cook) of Hanover and formerly of Teeswater, passed away peacefully with family by her side, at The Village Seniors’ Community, Hanover on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018, at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late Mearl “Tim” Harmon. (1995).

Dear mother of Dianne Forrest (Carl) of Digby, Nova Scotia, Bonny Salo (Norm) of Sutton and Debby Finn (Tom) of Hanover.

Missed by her grandchildren, Bruce Forrest, Brian Forrest (Michelle), Doug Forrest (Elizabeth), Sherri Ucci, Terri Salo, Shawn Finn (Christina) and Shannon Campbell, great-grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Michael, Angus, Sonya, Jonathan, Matthew, Emma and Quinlin and great-great-grandsons Wyatt and Jackson. 

Predeceased by her parents George and Annie (née Dobson) Cook and brother Art Yahbee.

Peg was very active in the Teeswater community.  She was a member of many local organizations, Knox Presbyterian Church and the Rebekah Lodge.

A memorial service to celebrate Peg’s life will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday, June 8th, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., with Reverend Owen Kim officiating.

Final resting place Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce or Red Cross Society of Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
