Obituary of Bertha Struthers

Bertha Margaret Struthers (Harkness) of Teeswater passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, November 18th, 2012 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late James E. Struthers who predeceased her in 1977. Dear mother of Doris Caesar and her husband Donald of Teeswater, Isabel Collison of R. R. #1 Formosa and Eileen Voisin and her husband Ken of R. R. #1 Formosa. Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by daughter-in-law Doris Struthers of Forest, sister Ina Ireland of Teeswater, brother Gordon Harkness of London, sister-in-law Florence Harkness of Wingham. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary Ellen (Morton) Harkness, son Bill Struthers, son-in-law Clarence Collison, brothers George Harkness (Margaret), Midford Harkness (Orlene), Wilfred Harkness (Isabel), Wesley Harkness and James Harkness, sisters Jean Gamble (George) and Nellie Reid (John), brother-in-law David Ireland and sister-in-law Elaine Harkness.
