Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Steve was an amazing presence in Teeswater and a part of many memories over the years for so many people. One memory I have of him that brings a chuckle, was in the late 70's when he spent the "milk money" on a hockey pool at the Cosy. We told him how much trouble he was going to be in....but didn't he turn around and WIN.

I had never spent $50 on a ticket but Stevie managed to talk me into buying one from him once. He had a great sales pitch “it’s ONLY $50” so I couldn’t resist. I will miss seeing him waving to all of us passing through town (he was a great ambassador) and he will be greatly missed at church where he was very reliable at helping with the collections each week.

Avid sports fan, and very familiar to people in the community. Family and friends will miss him.

Sending our sympathy to all of Steve's family - we have lots of good memories of Steve working with Mark at the grocery store and having him over to watch big wrestling matches (which he made very entertaining). Always loved seeing his big wave when driving by and having a chat either in person or over the phone. Steve touched a lot of lives and will be missed.

Steve was a fixture of the community. I have many memories of him while growing up in Teeswater including our time with the Kinsmen club. I would often drive Steve home after meetings when it was too cold or raining. One night, I thought he would like a thrill so I did some donuts at the fair grounds.... well.. he didnt like that. He yelled at me. I will never forget how pissed off he was. I promised I would never do it again... so he trusted me and I drove him home the next week.. and funny enough... the cops pulled me over right infront of his house... Steve jumped out of the car and said... "The cops are here!" and he then ran into the house leaving me there alone to deal with the police. Cop said "hey.. I didn't clock you but it looked like you were going to fast... I said "Well... Steve wanted to get home". Cop just said ok.
My condolences to the Millen Family and to everyone who knew Steve well. He certainly will be missed.
