Obituary of Cathy Waechter

Catherine Anne “Cathy” Waechter (née Benninger) of Walkerton, surrounded by family, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Thursday, November 29th, 2018, at the age of 63.

Beloved wife of Ken Waechter of Walkerton.

Loving mother of Dwayne Waechter (Jacquie) of Brussels, Joanne Robertson (Dan) of Varney and Jeff Waechter of Walkerton.

Missed by her grandchildren, Tyler Robertson, Timothy Waechter, Tristan Waechter-Hayes, Derrick Waechter, Joshua Robertson and Kyle Robertson.

Remembered by her siblings Lloyd Benninger of Blyth, Roseann Steffler (Len) of Cargill, Linda Weber (Lloyd) of Mildmay and Jerry Benninger (Pauline) of Formosa.

Also survived by in-laws, Yvonne Benninger of Formosa, Geraldine Leman (Edward) of Baden, Helen Miller and Florence Leman (Frank) all of Kitchener, John Waechter (Sharon), Wally Waechter (Connie) and Alfred Waechter (Diane) all of Formosa and Bob Weishar (Eileen) of Chepstow, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Beatrice (née Voisin) Benninger, step-father Jack Borho, brother Carl Benninger, brothers-in-law David Cassidy and David Miller and sisters-in-law Jan Benninger and Margaret Weishar.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., with vigil prayers at 4:45 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Formosa on Monday, December 3rd, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Father Michael Anderson as celebrant.

Reception to follow at the Formosa Community Hall.

Final resting place Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cemetery, Formosa.
