Obituary of Anita Kennedy

Anita Genevieve Kennedy (née Flach) formerly of Culross Township passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019, in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of the late Douglas Kennedy (2011)

Missed by her family David Kennedy and Shelley Thomas of Hanover and her children Justin (Amy) and Sarah (Garret), Margaret Kennedy of Hamilton and her daughter Hannah and Phyllis Kennedy Fischer and Darryl of London and their daughters Emily and Kailey.

Remembered by her sister Mary Louise Hauser of Mildmay, sisters-in-law Evelyn Kennedy of Ripley and Betty Kennedy of Teeswater and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Appolonia (née Ernewein) Flach, infant children David and Mary and in-laws Claude Hauser, Colin Kennedy, Catherine and Michael Weiss, Hugh Kennedy, Stewart and Marjorie Kennedy, Adam and Betty Kennedy, Jessie and Patrick Clancy, John Kennedy and Ronald (Pete) Kennedy and niece Joanne Kennedy.

Visitation at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Sunday, October 6th  from 1-4 p.m, with vigil prayers at 3:45 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater on Monday, October 7th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father John Schnurr officiating.

Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Culross Township.

Reception to follow at the Teeswater Community Centre.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce, Sacred Heart Cemetery or Walkerton Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
