As Donald’s first cousin, I fondly remember our family get-togethers over the years with Don, his sisters and mom and dad. We spent many Christmases in Brussels and summers at Lurgan Beach with the McCall family. Don was always a very kind, quiet, gentle soul and a friend to all. Sadly he is gone much too soon. We will miss him. Sincere condolences to Darlene and family, Aunt Lois and Debbie, Julie and Vickie, their spouses and families.

Barb and I would like to extend our sincerest sympathy to each of you at this difficult time. I have so many fond childhood memories of growing up with Don in Brussels. From spending time at the RediMix plant driving the go cart through the shop, to the cross country road trip in 1966 that our families shared, to riding the Honda 70’s together, and to running the roads as teenagers. Barb and I still laugh at the Halloween night that we, in costume, met up with Don at the Hamilton’s back door. He thought it was me in costume and proceeded to punch and wrestle to the floor when it was actually Barb. It was all in fun, and no harm was done, but he felt so bad afterward while everyone else laughed and laughed (might have been cocktails involved that night)
These are only a few of my fondest memories of Don. It is our hope that you will find comfort in the days ahead, through your cherished and fondest memories. Our condolences to all, he will be missed.

Darlene and family, sorry to here of Don’s passing. Although we only had the privilege of getting to know Don in the past 5 years when he joined in on our deer and moose hunting adventures, it didn’t take long to realize what a true genuine man he was! If I had to work he always made sure that Ty had a ride to the deer stand so that he wouldn’t miss the hunt along with the rest of the gang. Always had time to talk about our families, trucking or just life in general he will be truly missed! Shoot straight my friend! RIP

I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing and I want extend my deepest condolences to you all.
I know you must be feeling a great loss, because Don was truly a great man, , definitely one of the good guys.
We spent many great times together at family outings growing up together as first cousins.
I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face and I'm sure he never had an enemy in the world.
I will always remember the day he brought his brand new truck over to Wingham to show me. He was rightfully so proud of it and it was spotless! He actually made me take my shoes off to sit in it!
He went on to put over a million miles on that truck and had a great career traveling this entire country.
He will be missed greatly. I wish you all the best.
