Obituary of Aileen McGuire

Aileen Anne McGuire of Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels, formerly of Wingham, Sebright and Schomberg passed away peacefully at Wingham & District Hospital on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 in her 79th year. The former Aileen McGrogan beloved wife of the late Greg McGuire who predeceased her in 2007, after 51 years of marriage. Dear mother of Heather McGuire-Bell (David) of Wingham, Cliff McGuire (Janet Gaunt) of Toronto, Cheryl Hunt (Rick) of Innisfil, Colleen Snoddon (Jim) of Pefferlaw, Erin McGuire of Sebright and Shannon McGuire (Greg Adjodha) of Coldwater. SSSadly missed by grandchildren; Rachel Bell, Baillie Bell, Joseph Bell, Elizabeth Bell, Matthew Bell, Jeffery McGuire, Jackie McGuire, Michael McGuire, Rebecca McGuire, Calli Elliott, Laura Hunt, Samantha Hunt, Ryan Snoddon (Annie), Brent Snoddon (Jenn), Jaden Snoddon, Jessica McGuire Hopcroft, Dakota McGuire-Adjodha, Devon McGuire-Adjodha, Dalton McGuire-Adjodha, Danti McGuire-Adjodha and great-grandchildren Logan McGuire, Connor McGuire, Aislinn McGuire, Emma Snoddon, Abigail Snoddon, Cole Elliott Bond and Ashlynn Elliott Bond. Fondly remembered by in-laws, Frank McGuire (Peggy), Ben McGuire (Ann), Paul McGuire (Geraldine), Thelma Donnelly, Susan McGuire, Patricia McGuire, Margaret McGuire and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Madge (Carswell-Hunt) McGrogan, sister Helen Willmott (Jim) and in-laws Clarence McGuire (Bernice) (Mary), Basil McGuire (Willieann), Bert McGuire (Vera), Allan McGuire, Bruce McGuire, Kathleen McGuire and Jim Donnelly. Her husband Greg spoken of Aileen as an exquisitely beautiful Lady Wizard in culinary art. You had to be careful of her magic as it would surely steal your heart.
