Susan and members of Kirk's family. As mentioned Kirk was a very unique man. He could present as gruff as h--- and no doubt had a very colourful vocabulary, yet I also knew him to be kind, caring and generous. After Bruce's death he was one of my strongest supporters when it came to going through the house, helping me sort and pack, making numerous trips to the dump, and moving things from the farm to the here in haste to meet deadlines. He was kind to my adult children and grandkids. He annually shared some venison with me, and encouraged me to get certifications to allow me to target shoot as a hobby (done) and 3rd for hunting license. (Still under consideration)
My hope is you smile as you read this in agreeing Kirk was one of a kind, and will be missed by those friends he has left behind. My sympathies to each of you as you grieve.

Wishing you relief in the comfort of fond memories as you navigate this difficult time of grief. Shawna is a member of my team at work and it is rare that a person's personality traits aren't somewhat attributable to their upbringing and family, and parents in particular. Shawna is warm, kind, honourable and friendly; always a joy to work with. I'm hope that seeing or knowing about all that she has accomplished brought her father happiness in his life and final days.
Take care,
Michelle M.
