Obituary of Donald Fitzgerald
Donald Keith Fitzgerald, of Teeswater, passed away at Huron Hospice, Clinton, on Friday, May 19th, 2023, at age 66.
Beloved husband of Sandra Fitzgerald (née Fuller).
Loving father to Jamie Fitzgerald-Wright (Colan).
Sadly missed by grandson Austin.
Dear brother of Alfred Fitzgerald of Calgary, Sandy and Bev Fitzgerald of Blyth, Ken and Tina Fitzgerald of Paris and Paul and Cindy Steep of Wingham.
Also survived by his uncles, Don Thompson of Saskatchewan, Stan Fry (Barb) of Alberta, in-laws, Brian Fuller (Crystal) of Alberta, Gary Fuller of St. Marys, Sandy Rouse of Alberta, Jen LaRose of Wingham, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and fellow truckers.
Predeceased by his parents, Keith and Leona (née Thompson) Fitzgerald, brothers Bob and Jim Fitzgerald, uncle Donald Fitzgerald, aunts Anne Fitzgerald, Barb Thompson and Muriel Steep and sister-in-law Janet Fuller.
A celebration of Don’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 180, Wingham on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with memories and words of comfort shared at 2:45 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Culross-Teeswater Cemetery at 3:30 p.m., with Ann Maycock officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huron Hospice, Diabetes Canada or Pet Rescue would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
