My Gran was a force in this life. She was fiesty, caring, quick witted and unapologetically herself. Everyone who met her could not help but love her. Her family was everything to her and she always ensured she was there if she could be for every accomplishment, milestone, or challenge in our lives. I have so many amazing memories thanks to her. Visiting Scotland and England in search of Merlin, local Pow Wows in celebration of the First Nations, and many weekends spent in the garden (although I still lack her green thumb). She continued to share amazing memories with my son and when little Miss Octavia arrived, she spent as much time as possible with her Bonnie Wee Lassie. She lit up when she saw her grandchildren but even more so with her great-grandchildren. She fought so hard to stay with us and I know if she had her way she would live to be 100 just to be with her family. Gran I love and appreciate everything you have done for us so much. We will keep your memory alive and persevere just as you did through every difficult time in your life. I love you to the moon and back xo
