Obituary of Harvey Heimpel
Harvey Jeffrey Heimpel of Listowel and formerly of Wroxeter, passed away surrounded by the love of his family, at Listowel Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, at age 80.
Beloved husband and best friend of Sandra Heimpel (née Cummings), with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage on October 23rd.
Dear father of David (Chris) Heimpel, Leisa (Tom) McBride, Susan (Brian) Schnarr and Robert (Kim) Heimpel.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Brett, Leigh-anne, Kaitlynn, Colin, Courtney, Kara, Kurtis, Scott, Logan, Tyler, Kody, Skyler, Emily and Troy and great-grandchildren, Cayden, Daisy, Reuben, Sebastian, Owen, Mayson and Elliott.
Fondly remembered his sister Joyce Statia, nieces and nephews, Kim (Bob), Michelle, Kevin (Kathy) and Kendra (Steve) and their families.
Predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Eva (née Musgrove) Heimpel and brother-in-law Paul Statia.
Harvey and Sandra owned and operated Wroxeter Wood Products for over 27 years.
A private memorial service to honour Harvey’s life will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater, with Ann Marie Toner officiating.
Final resting place Wroxeter Cemetery.
