Obituary of Margaret Harkness

Margaret Esther Ellen Harkness formerly of Teeswater and Bervie passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 in her 94th year. The former Margaret Grimoldby, beloved wife of the late George Harkness who predeceased her in 1982. Dear mother of Mary Huber of Barrie, Ronald Harkness and Marj Nicholson of Bervie, Evelyn and Paul Fischer of Teeswater, Elda Huber and Glen Lippert of Neustadt and Donald Harkness of Fort Nelson, B.C. Sadly missed by 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and 8 step-great-great grandchildren. Also survived by daughter-in-law Linda Ergang and her husband Gordon of Fort St. John, B.C., son-in-law Richard Huber of Neustadt, sisters-in-law Bertha Struthers and Ina Ireland both of Teeswater, Florence Harkness of Wingham and brother-in-law Gordon Harkness of London. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her son Kenneth Harkness, daughter Audrey Johnston, sons-in-law Fred Huber and Ross Johnston, sisters Marian Dentinger (John) and Jean Moffat (Doug), brother Bert Grimoldby and one brother in infancy.
