Obituary of Donald Lamont
Donald Mac Lamont of Teeswater, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital, on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, at age 84.
Husband of Marjorie Lamont (née Elphick).
Remembered by his children, Kim Dent (Jim), Linda Lamont, Susan Riley (Ken), Bud Lamont (Stephanie), Dale Lamont (Natasha), Dawn Schiestel (Ken) and Scott Lamont, 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Brother-in-law of JD Elphick (Kathy), Joe Zettler, Larry Lamont and Albin Hauck.
Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Don was the last surviving member of his family, being predeceased by his parents, Orville and Irene (née Schlosser) Lamont, and siblings Marjorie Hill (Ron), Betty Clark and Bud Lamont, along with in-laws, Gladys Zettler, Donald Elphick (Diane), Robert Elphick (Norma), Carol Lamont and Sharon Hauck.
A private family funeral service will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater.
Interment Durham Road Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Salem United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
