Obituary of Alda Futhey
Alda Irene Futhey (née Grant) of Teeswater, passed away peacefully, at The Heart of Hasting Hospice, Madoc on November 15th, 2024, in her 89th year.
Born December 5th, 1935 in Culross Township. Teacher of shorthand, penmanship, typing at high school and community college, and watercolour artist.
Beloved wife of John for 60 years.
Dear mother of John and Wanda and Paul and Izabela.
Missed by her grandchildren Catie, Julia, Nicholas, Sam, and Simon.
Predeceased by her parents Eva and Clair Grant.
Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater, on Tuesday, November 19th from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service to honour Alda’s life will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Walkerton, on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Rob Hiscox officiating.
Interment at Culross Teeswater Cemetery.
