Obituary of Lloyd Sillick

Lloyd Elmer Sillick, long-time resident of Teeswater, died on January 6, 2014, at Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham, just a few days after his 94th birthday. Beloved husband for 65 years to Jessie (Thacker). Loving dad of Terry Sillick of Teeswater and Ron Sillick (Ruth Ann) of Orillia. Dear grandpa of Heather Cammaert (Andrew), Jason Sillick (Jennifer), Lise Mancari (Mark), Jade Sillick (Mike McKenna) and Hugh Sillick Missed by his great-grandchildren, Owen, Addison, Kayla, Jacob and Grayson. Survived by his sister of Joan Dupuis of Windsor and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Agnes (Bell) Sillick and Belle Sillick and brother-in-law Fred Dupuis and sister-in-law Ruth Torrance (Rod). Lloyd operated Sillick Hardware in Teeswater for many years, first with his father, Bill, and later with his son, Terry. He was a WW2 veteran, founding member of Teeswater Lions Club and a proud barbershopper.
