Obituary of Douglas Simpson

Walter Douglas Simpson of Culross Township passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, June 18th, 2014 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the former Doreen Currie for 57 years. Loving father of Anne and Bob Gowland of R. R. #1 Formosa, Jack and Christine Simpson of Toronto and David and Karen Simpson of Oakville. Proud grandpa of Daniel, David and Dana Gowland and Jonah and Kyle Simpson. Also survived by sisters-in-law Elsie Simpson, Helen Currie, Jessie McGee, Barbara Gibson and Marjorie Falconer and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Simpson, son Currie Simpson, grandson Ethan Simpson, brothers Arthur Simpson, Hugh Simpson, sisters Murdean Simpson and Mary Henderson, brothers-in-law Jack Currie, George McGee and Jim Henderson and sister-in-law Mary Simpson.
