Very nice tribute to Herb (or Art as know by his TO friends and family). The eulogy by Alfred was helpful in filling us in on the details of recent health struggles but also in all his many of accomplishments. The obvious affection between them was heartwarming and such a blessing to have each other for those final years and may your memories help with the healing. The words of his close friends also added some humour and once again demonstrated the high regard he was held by those many people that knew him well despite his "unique" personality. Hayley you also did a great job of describing Herb and it isn't always easy talking about the loss of someone that was always such a huge part of your growing up years. Janetta would be proud. RIP Herb.
Our sincere sympathies to all of Herb’s family and friends. I have many wonderful memories of the 4-H and Junior Farmers groups in which we both participated.
Dear Jim, Sharon and family, so sorry to hear about Herbie passing. We send our sincere condolences, you all are in our thoughts at this sad and difficult time.
My condolences on the loss of an old friend.
Went to high school and sometimes hung out with Herb way back in the late 60's.
Used to chat with Dr Ida as well in my parents grocery store in Teeswater.
Good folks....

My sympathy to Herb’s partner, family and friends. I knew Herb when he was a Funeral Director at Steeles Memorial Chapel. He was an amazing man and so well respected. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Herb.
