Obituary of Herbert McDonald
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of “Art” on December 24th, 2022, at the age of 71, after a short secondary encounter with cancer.
Son of the late Dr. Ida Brill and Herbert Earl McDonald from Teeswater.
“Art” as he was so affectionately called by those who knew him in Toronto for over 50 years, will be missed by his life partner, Alfred Miller. He will also be missed by his many friends in Toronto.
Survived by his brother Jim (Sharon) McDonald of Teeswater, brother-in-law Gary Weaver of Stratford and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sisters, Elizabeth "Liz" Baetz and Janetta Weaver.
Herbert enjoyed his time as a Funeral Director for almost 50 years.
Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd., Toronto), Thursday December 29th, 2022 from 10:00 am, until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am. A funeral service will also be held at Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater, ON, on Saturday December 31st, 2022 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Diane Douglas officiating.
Spring interment Culross Teeswater Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
