Obituary of Rita Strauss

Rita Katherine (née Millen) Strauss, of Teeswater passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, December 8^th, 2024, in her 97^th year.

Beloved wife of the late Wilfred “Biff” Strauss (2014).

Dear mother and mother-in-law of Ken Strauss and his wife Kathy of Dundas, Ted Strauss and his partner Jennifer of Ayr, Bob Strauss and his wife Cindy of St. Clements and Ed Voisin of Bala.

Missed by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Also survived by sister-in-law Donelda Millen of New Hamburg and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary (née Detzler) Millen, daughter Linda Voisin (2008), 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Sunday, December 15^th from 1 to 4 p.m. with parish prayers at 3:45 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater on Monday, December 16^th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. 

Spring Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
